    Unless you have some peculiar pricing system, it doesn't make any difference with gas heat. Electrical cost's can vary but it is usually for AC, not heat. That said, you should consider turning down the thermostat at night by 5 degrees and use a blanket to keep warm. It will save you money. How thick is your ceiling insulation?
