    Will acheck engine light go off if cause has been corrected.
    Auto zone said I had bad gas spent all gas and replaced with higher grade,changed spark plugs,used fuel treatment will this light go out if so when.

    I would seek more expert advice than AZ. Your "light" will go out when the ECM sees all the parameters are met.
    Meaning... the root cause must be corrected.

    I haven't worked on this devices but as I understand them they are LIFO (last in / first out data registers). That said the electronic design of the register will hold the error code until it is manually cleared.

    The simplest way to get this cleared is to have the mechanic that did the work clear the error code.

    If you did the work, go to an Advanced Auto or other type store and have them read the register to make sure that you corrected the failure and see if they will dump or erase the data register for you.

    Yes, the light will go out once the fault is fixed, and, (depending on what you drive because they're all different) the light will eventually go out.
    I'd like to know what was the actual original Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) that was stored.
    You can ask AZ to clear the DTCs, too, especially if you bought your tune parts from them.
