    To open hard drive
    When I click on my hard drives they come up in search mode,how do I get them to open when clicked on?

    I take it you mean how do you browse through your hard drives? My guess is that your folder settings have been altered... try to open a HD folder then go to <Tools>, <Folder Options... >, and press the <Restore Defaults> setting :)
