How to fix a leak on a copper x pvc x cast iron Tee?
Hi, I just wanted to know how to fix the leak on the Tee fitting going to my toilet. It is 1/2" copper X 2" pvc x 3.5" Cast iron Tee that feeds water to my toilet and sink, and collects waste from my Toilet and washer machine. I can't find this fitting anywhere on the computer, and my plumber said it was a special ordered fitting. The copper, pvc, and cast iron are all soldered together into the tee, and there is a little adapter on the side that fits my washer mashine hose. PLEASE if anybody could assist me on fixing it I would appreciate it. I think it is cracked, but I'm not sure and it is making a mess still. Thank you

    Jefar...

    I think maybe you're cracked! :D

    No such thing as a 1/2" copper x 2" x 3.5" cast iron tee fitting... ;)

No fitting in the world connects water and waste lines like you suggest... ;)

Either make funny and laugh out loud or post a picture of this fitting, OK?

    Happy Halloween!

Retapping a Cast Iron Sanitary Tee [ 13 Answers ]

I'm considering putting a shower into my Brookline, MA condo that has old hubbed cast-iron DWV. Currently there is 4" cast iron with a 1-1/2" copper branch from a tub. This is all on a concrete slab with the current 1-1/2" running on the surface, a 6' run, with a trap about 6" from the tee and 5'...

Can I cut a cast iron tee wye after the hub? [ 3 Answers ]

I need to replace a toilet drain and think it would be easier to cut into the tee wye after the hub. Then reconnect the drain with PVC and fernco couplings. The lead bend that was originally installed 40 plus years ago does not sweep as lead bends I've seen before causeing a slow flush. That is the...

Cast iron vertical from cast iron horizontal can be pvc? [ 2 Answers ]

A leak developed in the main cast iron vertical stack of pipes leading to the horizontal main drain. Unfortunately, for me, the leak was so close to the ground that I had to break the concrete slab of the house. At that point, it just made sense to dig an extra 4 inches or so and remove the bad...
