Get an attorney if you don't have one.
If you don't have an attorney , your chances are none or less.

Be prepared to lay out some money, good attorneys are not cheap.
It may not be just, but it is the way the system works.

So you want to get primary physical custody. If you can prove the mother is unfit, you have a chance. But that is difficult to prove. Have you called the local Family Services agency to check on conditions? Was the act of punching a car window reported?

You will need more than just your word in court. Having an attorney will greatly help as the attorney will know how to properly build a case.
