    I am 2 weeks late.
    On the first day of my expected period I spotted once, and it was a small amount. What does it mean?

    Is pregnancy a possibility? If so, try a pregnancy test. Sometimes there can be a bit of spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy, often around the time a period would be expected.

    If your periods are sometimes irregular, maybe it is due to that. On occasion, a period can just be off for that cycle as well.
