Part-time work on an E3 Visa
I have been living in New York for the past 5 years, and have had a few different types of visas. Last month I switched jobs, so I returned to Australia and applied for an E3 (my second one). I was approved for it on a part-time basis, and have been working at my new job for the past month. In the meantime, I have been offered another part-time job, and I don't know what I need to do in order to keep to my visa regulations. I have been told by numerous people that I can work two part-time jobs. How do I add my new employer to the list? Do I need to leave the country again?
    Thanks,
    RW

Is the second position the same or similar position as your E-3 employment? You can have another part-time position, but it must also be a professional position requiring a similar degree.

If the position qualifies, you can file with the USCIS, no need to apply for the visa at AMCON to begin employment.

The position is the same, I am a designer, and I have been asked to design for another company. What is the procedure of filing with the USCIS? Does it take a long time?
    Thanks for your help!
