    Water continues to run into washer all the time the only way to stop the water is to shut off water completely.Why

    Hot and cold have separate solenoids to open as required. If a Tech was to remove control(coils) wires from Solenoids and water still flows, it is not shutting off. These are normally closed when off, and open the valve when voltage is applied.
