    CPA and criminal record
    I have sat for the CPA exam in California and passed it and now I am a little worried about getting approved for licensure. I have a criminal background of a federal misdemeanor. It involves theft and happened 10 years ago. I'm discouraged to md forward with licensure as I was already rejected for employment by a CPA firm. Does anyone have any adv ice?
