Gfi under sink? GD Running constantly
I extended a box over a couple feet to supply power to DW n GD n Hot Water box. I used a gfci outlet in replcaement of a 20a outlet and now when I plug in GD it constantly runs and no response from switch. Should I go back to the old 20a outlet and wire a top and bottom separate cirquit on the one 20a outlet and not use a gfi at all?

You either wired it wrong, or did not split the jumper between the two brass scres on the new outlet.

Okay, what you are describing seems to be a correctly functioning receptacle.

You are aware that a GFCI receptacle is not required under the sink.

If you GD is running constantly, I would suggest you check the wiring to and from the switch that controls the GD.

Toilet constantly running. [ 6 Answers ]

My toilet has been running for 3 days. I've tried everything, including cleaning out the tank to remove any deposits that may have been the problem. I've had this problem before, and I've always fixed it. I would just shut the water off, but whoever installed it didn't put a shutoff valve on the...
