Lym? Or lyne
I have a signed print, of a hunting scene, published by frost and reed inb 1954 (it was presented to a Fracis friegl in 1960) and sold by mawson,swan and morgan. The thing is the signiture looks like "lym" but the only reference I can find at these firms are for a M Lyne. When I compared the signitures they do not look the same and I cannot find any reference by M Lyne for this print although M Lyne is well known for his hunting scenes. Can anyone throw any liught on this for me please?
