I go to first aiding with a guy a couple of years older than me. We get on really well and always have a good laugh when we go on duties together.. he always hugs me (but he does hug everyone), he always sits with his arm around my waist and we have held hands. He always makes an effort to talk to me on Facebook and he always texts me (we speak pretty much everyday). When we awere out on a duty we were sat in the minibus on the way home.. he said ''oh bite me'' so I turned around and pretended to bite him. He then kissed me. We have spoken about it and at first he said it didn't mean anything, when I got annoyed he admitted that it did and that he did have feelings for me ( I have feelings for him too), but we never really took it any further and haven't really spoke about it since. He always calls me beautiful and pays me loads of compliments and we also flirt a lot. But since we have kissed I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to take a chance and ask him out just to embarrass myself but I do want to be more than friends :/

My best friend and I are the same way... remember if you guys are reallllly close best friends than you can talk to him about it, be like

You: I like you and I don't know how you feel but I'd like to take the next step

If he says no don't act all clingy..


Butt there's also a negative affect because sometimes best friends going out isn't good since if you guys break up you guys might not remain friends

This is your choice completely, if you want more than a friendship with this guy then ask him how he feels about it, remember though that if he says no, don't get mad, and that if he says yes, when (not if, because relationships this early in life don't normally last forever) you two break up the friendship WILL change, whether better or worse is anyone's say. I can see him just wanting to be friend though because like him, I too like to be extremely friendly and flirty with girls, hug them, pay them compliments, enjoy having sex with friends of mine, give them cute nicknames, but it is all just fun and I make sure that they know that I do not want a relationship and that I am not looking for one. I am just having fun and I am a fun guy to be around and a good friend. So don't be upset if that is just the way he is, or if you decide to move it a step further keep in mind the risks that you are taking.
