I had an Ex boyfriend who left me for someone else. I had just started College, I wasent aware of this at the time, I had found out from his sister what was going on. Well I moved on and got my degree. Thing are going really good for me now, I couldn't be more happier. The only thing is. He has called me 4 times already. Seeing how I am doing. Not to mention he's going to be a father and is Engaged. I still keep close contact with his family. But nothing more to him. I want to erase him from my life like he did to me. He was my first love. And Yes I will always love him.
Here's my question? Why is he still trying to keep contact with me, If has a fiancé, and is soon to be father?? :confused:

Well, it's hard to say from what you write. Does he say why? The reality is it is you who needs to not answer the phone when he calls. If you want you could tell him, you not comfortable talking to him but I see no reason to do that since he broke up with you.

Well I guess as he was your first love he prob wants to keep in touch with you from time to time.. my first boyfriend did the same to me and he still contacts every year or so and its now 12 years later even though he is now married with 3 kids!

I did not mind as the feelings were quite mutual and it was a friendly breakup,

So if you do now want him to contact you just tell him so and he should respect your wishes.

The grass is not greener on the other side. Hmmm, maybe he wants to remain really good friends with you. Friends with benefits. Best thing you can do is get your number changed and leave him in your dust. That is how you feel, right?

It's hard to say. The fact that he didn't have the guts to tell you when he left you for somebody else tells me he has a dishonest (or cowardly) streak in him, so don't feel bad about keeping him at arms length. Being friends with exes, especially firsties, is great if it works for both of you, but not if there are lingering bad feelings on either side.
