How do I live with my ex
My ex and I were really close and lived together in a relationship for seven years, we more or else ended our relationship because I wanted to change sex, we continued to live together and not see anyone for 3 years until moved into a new place were she started seeing the manager upstairs who is older and has a record of mischeif. I had no problem with her moving on but she now does nothing around the house, can't pay her rent and treats me like a door mat, when I try and take to her plays stupid and nice then runs back upstairs and screws the guy. She has no integrety as a friend and I'm stuck because I want to move and stay away but rent is so high I can't survive with out my current arrangement which I have had for years, I would like to know if anyone can give me advice on how to deal with someone that you can no longer stand and manage to stay until I can find something better, like is there a way to tolerate it and not be a part of it, any advice would be a great help thanks.

Advertise for a roommate and move out to share an apartment with someone new. Too much history here and it's an inherently unhealthy situation. Or move somewhere with cheaper rent, or get a second job so you can afford to live alone.

You can't do anything to change her behavior. That you HAVE to move!

Tell her that you plan on moving as soon as you find another person to room with and then start doing some serious looking.

You say she can't pay her rent, so what's the problem? Find a new roommate, or move out to a cheaper apartment and let the manager worry about her.

You should have been gone, even if it takes TWO jobs to get you out.
