    Is it an unlawful order to make someone go to an event that cost money
    As an officer it is expected of you to go to some events, but can they order to you to go to a event that cost money?

    What kind of officer?? Military?? A military officer doesn't have much discrimination about the orders he gets, while an officer of a private club does.
