What to do with unused phone landline wires?
We currently have some landline phone wires sticking out of the wall, actually out of some window molding, strangely enough, and they hang down and have wall plates at the end. Don't ask me how that happened, but it's pretty ugly. We only use cell phones so I'd like to trim these wires and cap them somehow. Should I use an electrical wire cap or something? I don't really need them to be covered over necessarily, just a little less unsightly than they are now.

If they are not in use, cut off and stuff in wall. Patch the small hole and paint. If u can remove the line without too much trouble, go for it.

There is no electricity in dead phone lines.
