Do you know what each term means?

Variation of Bacteria, which I assume is the change in the genetic material of bacteria, can be "performed" in several ways. Mutations occur sporadically during DNA replication, transduction occurs from viruses inputting DNA that they may have absorbed from other cells or their own DNA/RNA, etc. If you think about it, bacterial cells are just cells in their own right. Don't animals have the same cells? Can't the same processes that affect bacteria affect your own cells?

If I'm not answering the question, then the way you posted your question is not very clear.
