    I am planning on getting braces, and I have crowns on my teeth.
    Will this affect anything? Or loosen the crowns?

    No, your crowns shouldn't be affected. The teeth may feel loose for a bit but that is because they are moving, they will tighten up once they get in to proper position and the orthodontist has them in retention.
