Will I have to pay child support after so many years?
The mother just told me of this news two days ago. That this teenager now (15 yrs old) may and could possible be my child. My question is will I have to pay child support and back child support sense she never told me until now? And should I have a DNA TEST done?

Has there been a court order for child support against you already? Depending on where you live they can order back support of some kind but again where you live determines how far back. Also if the State was ever involved then they too will ask for it. If your made responsible for child support then by all means get a court ordered DNA test done. That way you know for sure. You can also (at your choosing) can establish a relationship with the child should you be the legal father.

No, there was no court order. She lives in N.C. I live in GA. She kept it from me for over fifthteen years, it was just her telling me word of mouth... again no legal court order. She also says she doesn't want child support. Is this possible to get her to draw up a legel binding document saying "she doesn't want child support or back child support"? After all I'm a good dad father of two already. If in fact this is my child I will take full responsibleability. I just don't want to be taken through a financial ringer.

You 2 can sign anything you want but it doesn't mean its going to be held up in court. Also if the state stepped in and helped at any point you could be on the hook just from that and she can't sign that away.

Next Question then what if someone else is already on the birth certificate as the father? Which in fact is actually true.

Then after this amount of time it may or may not be challenged depending on where you or the child lives. If someone else is on there you may not have any rights at all.
