    How do andrenergic receptors work?
Im in the need of some help. I am in paramedic school and we are in the pharmacology section. We just went over the Autonomic nervous system and its drugs and I have a test Monday, but its not all making sense. I understand how sympathomimetics, sympatholytics work (alpha & beta agonist/antagonist). But I'm seeing grey on the ganglion, postsynaptic, and presynaptic receptor stuff. I understand how adrenergic neurotransmitters alpha=NE and beta=EPI work, but I just can't see clearly when it gets into the synapse area and its very stressful. Im hoping someone can say the right thing and explain so all of this can click into place. Thanks.
