    Jail? Help!
    I got charged for credit card fraud and I didn't do it... its just the guy that did got charged but cause I was driving I got charged too... my question is will I get a record I'm 17.. like I'm in... university and this **** happened cause I was in a wrong place at the wrong time... how does it work can I get out of it... my friend got charged drop 3 times.. can I get lucky>?

    You were likely charged as an accessory. If his chrages get dropped this time your will likely too. If he's been charged 3x already what were you thinking hanging with him? You need a lawyer, a public defender will be appointed but usually not as good as one of your choosing

    You were charged because you were part of the crime, You were the "get away driver" basically and unless you work a deal to turn evidence against the "real criminal" for a deal you must understand normally by most states laws ( all that I know) you are still considered guilty of this

    I meant my friend had different charges dropd before... just using it as a thought... and I'm in canada.. US if this happened id need 10 lawyers.. this was opp//i hear there garbage officers and there evidence is usually weak.. but they said there charging me for 3 things only did 2 things... thats a mistake already.. and they let me go without someone older than 18///they told me to walk back but I called taxi.there very slow and ihope I have a chance... any other answers id be glad to hear it thanks

    They often charge you with more than they expect to hold, again hoping to make a plea deal. Get an attorney before you make any choices, go not guilty and ask for an attorney if you can't afford one.

    Ye I can afford one.. I mean if I get one, what's the chances they give me communtiy hours etc.. no record or jail.. im 17 its youth court... thx again for your help
