    When I turned my a/c off at the thermostat the blower keeps going.

    Is the AC running when you turn it off? Newer energy efficient units try and extract all the heat by keeping the central fan running for a minute or so after the condenser goes off. I thought I was having a similar problem but that's what the answer was. AC works fine.
