Can I file a quitclaim deed if my house is in the process of foreclosure?
I want my name off and only my husbands name to remain. I am not on the mortgage and want to be free and clear of this house and all foreclosure proceedings. What if there is a lien on the house? Also I live in Florida if that makes a difference.

You can file a QCD, but I doubt that will cause the person or institution which is doing the foreclosure from sending papers to you. Nor will it absolve you from liability, if any, on the underlying debt.
