    How long will you spend in jail on a criminal felony?
    How long will you spend in jail on a criminal felony? They issued a warramt for my dad. His bond is $10,000. How long do you think he would have to spend in jail if he turned himself in?

    Depends on the charges, his record, what an Attorney can work out, how badly the DA wants a conviction.

    A warrant never dies. He can (literally) be arrested and dragged out of his house.

    He should turn himself in. Not turning himself in is not going to make this go away.

    A felony can be anything from theft to murder. And there are 100's of issues that effect time they serve.

    Hello s:

    As the Padre mentioned, there are 100's of factors that go into sentencing... At this point there is only ONE of those factors in his control... BEFORE he turns himself in, he can, and should, hire the BEST criminal defense attorney he can afford.
