Rust colored blistered - excess moisture
The house was built in 1945 and is brick. Bought in 1999.
North and west side of interior walls from baseboards up the walls a foot or so have rust colored water filled blisters and is covered with black mold. North exterior side used to have vines growing up the side to the roof. These were cut down about 2-3 years ago.
I have energy efficient windows since 2003 but had most refitted to create a tigher seal this year. I've noticed a lot of moisture build up on the inside of both the top and bottom portion of window so much that it pools on the sill. Another issue I've noticed is the water pipes in the basement have moisture beads so much that it drips. These are all new problems.

Sorry but I only saw your latest post. Black mold may be treated with lysol disinfectant and then bleach. The mold must be killed before bleaching to to make it go away.
    Hope this helps
