Help my dog keeps pooping in my new house
We moved toa new house last week, and our 3 year old dog is now pooping in the house daily. He used to let us know when he needed to go out, but now nothing. I know he might be a bit stressed about the move, b ut what can I do to help him stop going in the house. I am 8 months pregnant so if it doesn't stop soon we may need to find a new home for him.

It could be just from the drastic change in environment, but he could also be marking his new territory. Consistancy with letting him out after every meal and play time as well as washing with an enzyme cleaner after every accident will help in preventing him from this behavior.

You may need to go back to basics, by treating him like a new puppy.

    Good luck

I agree with Aurora Bell. Also, a previous animal living in the house may be causing him to mark his territory.

I know you have a lot on your plate but you did just move. Dogs get nervous when their usual routine is disrupted. He is in a strange place and doesn't know what the heck is happening. You really need to give him some time to adjust to your new home. Is it possible that you have been so busy unpacking and decorating, along with getting ready for your baby's arrival that your attention has not been focused on him as much as usual? That easily can cause additional stress on your dog. Is it possible you have been so busy that you just aren't noticing his usual signals? What was your usual routine with him before and can you do the same thing now? Dogs really are creatures of habits. Consistency and a set routine will help him relax.
