I have a dual wall switch that operates my ceiling fan. One switch turns the fan itself on and off. The other switch operates the lights that are on the fan. My problem is this: When I turn the switch that operates the fan on the OFF position, it doesn't completely go off. The blades will slow down - WAY down - I mean it just barely rotates... but it keeps rotating... it won't stop... I've never had that happen before. Usually when you turn a wall switch off, whatever it operates goes off... but not in this case... My fan blades slowly turn... very very slowly... it will do that for an hour or so... then it will come to a complete stop... in another half hour or 20 minutes or so, the blades will slowly begin turning again... I can't understand it... anybody have any suggestions? My fan is brand new and was just installed...
