    Enough Proves for I-751?
Hi, my temporary green card will expire on the 11/25/2010, my husband and I were separated 6 months ago, but we didn't get a divorce. We kind of seeing each other again a month ago, and he told me to keep the marriage, turn in I-751. But after I studied online, I'm afraid I don't have enough of the marriage proves to the immigration. I only have, pictures of us, tickets when we went back to Thailand together to see my family, joint bank account, I can ask for a letter from our psychologist we used to see for couple consultant. But we don't have any rent or bills together since we were living with his mom and no tax return since we are students. Do you think those proves I have are enough to file I-751? Any suggestion?

If you are truly married and have now reconciled, you will be fling a joint petition. As such, your husband will be there with you at the interview. Both of you will be sworn in, under penalty of perjury, and so your testimony is entered in as evidence.

Don't ever lie about anything. Definitely include information about the counseling, as it is likely that the separation will come up in the interview. Get a letter from your mother-in-law to explain the housing. You still should file tax returns even if you have minimal or no tax liability. Go heavy on the cohabitation documents, include screen shots of your social networking sites, cell phone pix, etc. there are lots of ways that young, college age couples show they are truly married.

    Good luck.

It is both annoying and amusing to see some atheist astronomers repeatedly claim that finding life on Mars or anywhere else in the universe proves that there is no God.
