    establishing identity
    I'm having trouble establishing this identity
    1-tan^2(x)/1+tan^2(x) = cos^2(x)-sin^2(x)
    any help would be much appreciated!

    First use:



    Then, convert tan and sec to sin and cos.

    This should be easy to finish.
