We are laying tile down on cement board on subfloor. The result is that our toilet drain pipe will need to be extended about 3/4". Could someone please direct me to the tools I would need and also the process? We will also have to extend the shower drain as we will be putting down cement board over subfloor. Then we have a Tere-Stone shower pan that we will be installing on top of the cement board. So again, another increase of about 3/4". I understand there is a tool that plumbers use that will cut the drain pipe from the inside. I don't know what it is called. I also am not sure what kind of pipe we have... though I think it is PVC. (I don't know how to upload pix to this message... I have pix... )

No problem here. Go to your local hardware store and purchase a set of flange extenders, (see image) . Cut the shower trap raiser back far enough to glue in a coupling. Good luck, Tom
