    Possible pregnancy
    I already have a 5 yr old kid. After 2 yrs of giving birth I'm having irregular period already. Was trying to conceive lately but I'm frustrated that nothing is in there. 3 years ago an ob gyne said I have symptoms of pcos and gave me provera to fix my hormones. After that I had my period again. But didn't go back to an ob gyne after that. I want to have a baby now but for 3 months always negative. I heard something about Chlomid. Can I take that one without consulting an OB GYNE? I want to have another baby. My last period started last August 26 and had sex on sept 4-6 but withdrawal was made. And it's now sept 28 and I haven't had my period yet. What's the chance that I'm pregnant this time? Or I'm just delayed again and I need to wait for more before I get a preggy test? I am always frustrated to see negatives. I want to have a baby so badly. I don't know now if I can be preggy or just another false hope is up.

    Does your partner want to have a baby as well? Not sure why he would withdraw if you are trying to become pregnant.

    You should not use Clomid without seeing your doctor and deciding if it is what you need or not. Your doctor would need to do some testing to determine whether you are ovulating. You would not want to use Clomid if you don't need it. There would be no point and there are risks associated with it's use.

    Three months is not a long time to be trying... frustrating that it hasn't happened as fast as you would like it to, I am sure. Most couples become pregnant within a year of trying, some take a bit longer.

    First thing is to be sure both of you want to have a baby together. Then you will need to stop using withdrawl. Since your doctor feels you have PCOS, it would be a good idea to go back and discuss some further testing.

    Since you have been having sex, pregnancy will likely be possible. If you are late for your period, try a test. If negative, give it several more days and see if your period just shows up late. If no period, try another test, but do see your doctor to discuss what should be your next course of action.
