Never charged but investigations still shown when my name is pulled up
    Hello,

So I recently had an officer stop by as I owe a person some money under $500.00. He told me that he pulled my name and brought up a few "reports" on me from 2006, 2007. I was never charged for anything... ever... but he told me that he wanted to determine my character and hence pulled up some previous "investigations" that were on me. My question is how long does something like this stay "under my name". I wasn't even aware that something from then would still be showing under my name as no charges were ever laid and the matter was handled btwn both parties. (Ontario, Canada.)

    Thank you!

LE keeps all records whether they be mere allegations, sealed or expunged info

Sealing and expungements of investigations, non-arrests, sealed and expunged arrests only apply to non-law enforcement positions

Pulled over, pulled out of truck, truck searched, wrong guy? [ 9 Answers ]

Ok, my boyfriend got pulled over this morning and was told to get out of his truck. The police then searched his truck (tore apart his truck, is what he said) and then they said "oh, sorry, we have the wrong guy". Is there anything he can do here? He has no criminal past (few speeding tickets)...
