    How to use 551km divide 4h45min which is the difference of 7.15 and 2.30
    James left Town A at 2.30p.m for Town B which was 551km away.He arrived in Town B at 7.15pm.What was his average speed

    Average speed is given by:



    Convert the time into minutes only, or into hours only.

    If you do the first one, your speed will be in km/min, if you do the second one, your speed will be in km/hr.
