    Hair removal techniques
I am considering having some of my body hair permanently removed. I would like some advice on the pros and cons of laser hair removal and/or electrolysis, and opinions regarding visiting a clinic versus purchasing a "do it yourself" apparatus. Namely: Are there any health risks involved? What is the time commitment, pain factor, likelihood of success, and approximate expense? Any other recommendations?
    Thanks!

Hello, Well I have some hair I want and need to remove. I haven't tried laser hair removal although I was going to. Thank goodness I didn't. Laser hair removal isn't guaranteed. I've read while researching that Years may pass by and the hair may grow back and well your money was spent for nothing. Electrolysis I heard is 100% guaranteed by the FDA I believe as being safe and permanent, and I had it done and all you feel is a quick sting, BUT TRUST ME NOTHING YOU CAN NOT HANDLE! YOU CAN HANDLE IT! They say the most sensitive spot is the upper lip. She was telling me that after the first treatment one needs to be faithful with the treatments. I believe there are 3 treatments(3 weeks) After the first week you should most likely go back the second week that same day and even possibly hour, because she said that the hair will be in the regrowth process and will have almost like dust around the "root' and she will be able to zap the hair and by the third week she'll zap the last bit of it and WALA it is so long unwanted hair, and HELLO SMOOTH SKIN! Do your research first, so You become more educated with Electrolysis, or pick a spa or whatever place you know they do this procedure and make sure they are licensed to do this even doctors, and make sure they know what they are talking about. So do your research and go off and ask questions, so You have better knowledge of the procedure that way people can't walk all over you. My electrologyst is great. She knows what she is doing and she's been doing it for years along side her daughter and she's honest. Look for honesty as well.
