    1990h onda prelude high idle after changing timing belt need help
    Timing belt broke changed and one put back together run just don't idle normal has idle high and low lope ran fine before timing belt problem and has aloud whinning sound matbe distributor bearinghas a 176,000 miles on the car.checked vacuum hoses fine ,changed fuel filterchecked air filter cleanedidle control valve can't find oxygen sensor,changed pvc valve,didn't change lgn control module yet checked code don't understand it at first both units were flashing cleared it now I get 5 flashes I think m.a.p.

    Double check for intake leak or vacuum line not connected. If all good, double check your cam timing, make sure belt was installed correctly. The most obvious thing that will cause a whining after timing belt replacement is the belt being too tight. Check your tensioner pulley and make sure it is installed with proper tension.
    If your vehicle was running well before the repair, I would not recommend changing a lot of parts. If there are no bent valves( gross misfire ) then something was done incorrectly during r&r.
