Civil Suit: Plaintiff did not respond to discovery and admissions. What now? Ohio
I am in a civil suit with a debt collection company. They sent me the usual disovery docs. I answered all of these and sent my own. I sent them on 6/25 and they have not responded. I have had a second prelim hearing in front of the judge on Sept. 3. He set the trial for Nov. and requested any dispositions be made to the court by Sept. 30. My question is what should I do? Do I need to file a motion to compel? How do I get the fact that they have not responded serve as admissions to all my assertions? Do I move for summary judgement? Where can I find a copy of these motions so I can be helped in creating my own? Any advice would be very helpful.
