    Replace Broken Flange
    Have an existing toilet with a broken flange .the flange is installed with lead to hold it in place. The house is on a concrete slab built in the 60's I tried a flange repair that screws on to existing old flange and don't seem to fit right .any way to replace the whole flange and pipe

    That flange can be lifted with little bit of effort. However, there is always way of attaching repair collar over it. They sell several repair kits for situations like yours...

    Any way you could take a photo of this flange and post it for us to see? It would be very helpful... Back to you... Milo

The closet flange on my cast iron pipe is broken, nothing left but a jagged edge. Should I use a pvc flange that fits down into the existing pipe and screw it into subfloor? The problem is that the jagged edge is not at an even heighth all the way around. Thanks Dan.
