How can I troubleshoot deforst boar
Have a rheem unit rpka30jaz its seems to work good in cooling when I pull off the reversing valve switch it goes into cooling but it will not go into heating until I put it back on, I am very concern about heating now an well I want it to work from the tstat but it is not working now but it will cutt off an on so what is causing this probleming?

I have a rth230b t-stat and the battery lights were flashing I went to get the batteries out and the were hard to budge, I used a screwdriver to get out the old batteries and I put in the new now I got no display. Bought a new t-stat and same thing nothing. What do I do now? Jim
