    Renter being harassed by other renter
    For over a year a renter below me, has verbally abused,and thrown a door rug at me and hates Christmas, she destroyed all x mas decorations and stripped the door of beautiful wreath. I did sign a harassment complaint and waiting for a court date. Renter has a mental problem and goes into fits of rage and ranting. I lock my door and put a chair in front . Renter has threatened me with a fire.. being I am on the third floor and one exit,I have to pass her door when leaving and she opens her door and starts screaming that I can't pass... it's hers. Well, after over a year I have a court date and I hope I can do this... I am not a police caller... just a person who loves peace... besides going to a nursing home to care for my mother everyday and wish to come home and not have to deal with this anymore. I am mentally exhausted from the fear of a fire... it lurks in my head daily... I know she put it there to scare and control me? I am so respectfull, I feel sorry for her... and have no evil thoughts of her and only wish her the best.

    Hello K:

    Your landlord has a responsibility to provide you a safe and secure environment. What have you done to make sure they DO THAT?? In fact, THAT is the course you should have been taking all along, assuming you haven't.

    Agreed, you should have started with the landlord. What have you said to the landlord and what has been done.

    Also what is your question for us?
