Why is my family acting weird with me?
My mum, dad and sister laugh behind my back and when I talk to any of them I get rude answers back, e.g mom have you finished cooking? Answer: What do you think?. I get quick rude answers back and also when I am alone with either one of them they would speak to me very nicely as long as none of the other two are listening. At the moment I am without a job which means I am home all the time, although am looking for a job. Also they have started to treat me as a waiter to either get them water or cook them simple meals. Also recently they put a finger up at each other when I'm around, like if I'm sitting with my sister my dad would walk in and quickly stick a finger up when I'm not looking and they would both laugh..

That's horrible. Maybe they think they're being funny, but try getting them together and explain how hurtful their behavior is to you. I have no idea why they act this way to you, but I have never heard such collective immaturity from one family in my life. They should be ashamed of themselves.

They are being rude, and acting like a bunch of children, but, I do have a few questions.

How old are you? Are you an adult or a child?

If you're an adult, are you paying rent to live in their home?

If you don't pay rent, don't you think that cooking and helping around the house is a must, something you should be doing seeing as they're providing you with a place to live, food to eat?

It sounds like they're annoyed that you're there, but instead of talking to you about the situation, they're acting out in a childish immature manner.

Of course there are two sides to every story. I wonder what they would say if they posted here.

Could you be too sensitive for whatever reason? You make no mention of this kind of behavior when you were younger, which would lead one to assume you would be use to it, so maybe because your home all the time now, has you seeing things behind your back that have nothing to do with you personally, but just your family interacting. I don't know but maybe its time to get a job and leave, because I have no clue why they do what they do, if you don't.
