    A real estate rented me an illegal apartment can I demand my fee back
    The landlord was turned in and we have to move out 6 months after moving in. (Paid real estate fee, security and moving fees and will have to pay them all over again. Can I get reimbursed by real estate for anything?

    You can ask landlord for every penny you paid,

    Agreed and if he says no then consider sueing for damages.

    Hello b:

    If you're talking about the real estate agent who rented you the place and charged a fee, you bet you can get your money back... Maybe even MORE. He's licensed. He's supposed to KNOW if a rental is legal or not. I'd sue him in small claims court, and I'd add your moving expenses too.
