How can I bleed water out of the gas line 98 maxima?
About a gallon of water was mistakenly put in my tank when low on was (was pure water in a old gas can). It ran about two miles and died. I have since used a fuel additive and 3 gallons of highest octane 93 gas in the tank but still no start. I spent the whole day trying to pop the fuel filter but it's like cemented hose. I have replaced the pump and tank before and was was wondering if the two line from the tank (has a return line) can be undone atop the tank (under the back seat) and purged by repeated turning of the key. Not starting the engine just to the point I hear the pump push. Possibly into an empty jug? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Disconnect the fuel line, attach a neoprene line with a clamp, and turn the ignition switch to ON (Position II). After the fuel pump stops, turn the ignition switch to OFF. Repeat this process, until done.

Which line should I bleed? There is one with an arrow pointing to the engine. I suppose the other is the return. I got quite a bit out of the line with the arrow and nothing seems to come from the return. Which line is the one I should be bleeding?

I'm not familiar with your car, but I would go for the main fuel line going to the engine, not the return line coming from the fuel pressure regulator. Wear goggles, have a fire extinguisher handy, and only do this outdoors. Be very careful. No sparks or flame.
