Amana First Edition Self Cleaning oven - how to operate

The lock lever does not appear to stay in the locked position. I do not have an owner's manual, but I do have the serial number. Can you help me?

Exhaust odor from Amana oven/range [ 1 Answers ]

Amana "insta broil" self cleaning oven/range - natural gas - last (2) days strong 'exhaust' odor when turning on oven, or top burner. Flame is blue (not orange or red). This is not a 'rotten egg' odor, but more like fumes from a small gasoline engine. Oven is about 10 yrs. Old. Any ideas?
