Air conditioner is not blowing out cold enough air
I have an inside heat pump (carrier). Air conditioner would not turn on. Technician repaired 2 valves on outside unit and recharged freon (7.5 lbs had diminished to 1 lb). Now the air isn't very cold. Unit runs all day and never reaches temp above 76. Had outside voltage checked and there was about 50 amp difference. This tech wasn't knowledgeable about heat pumps.. could the difference in voltage be causing the compressor to not cool the air enough? Is it possible the tech didn't actually find the cause of the leak? What is my next step.. $300 for repair and electric up 47% from last month because of constant running unit! Please help!
