    Playstation 3 to TV through directv receiver.
    Can't hook up playstation 3 through directv receiver with an hdmi cable. Receiver hooked to TV with component cable. TV has no hdmi plug. Help

    Do you have any other cables besides the HDMI for your unit?

    I have a component cable but when the directv installer came out he used the inputs on the TV to hook up the directv receiver to the TV

    So your saying your TV only has 1 input?

    Most have at least 2 sets. Some are located in front and back of the TV.

    Dude you got to get a new TV. I'm pretty sure that's the only way.

    The TV has inputs for a component cable and the older type cable (red, yellow, white)
