Yes, rubbing will irritate the tattoo. It would be best to wear sleevess tops, or if you can't, VERY loose fitting ones around the sleeves until it heals (around 2 weeks)

I had mine done right on my jeans line, now that's a hard place to prevent rubbing! I alternated between wearing really low sweat pants to covering it up with a non-stick gauze pad while I was at work.

Make sure you keep applying antiseptic cream to the tatt to help prevent infections and prevent fading and peeling too quickly.
