    Blocked drain in basement
    Flush toilet in basement floor drain overflows any answers/suggestions?

    You have a blockage downstream from the floor drain that must be snaked, Remove the strainer from the floor drain and send a snake down the drain. There will be a bend in the trap that you'll have to work around but once past that you should have a clear shot.
    What I would do is put out 15 or 20 feet of snake to be sure. Good luck, Tom
