    I agree to pay the attorney until it is paid off -- what does the court do
    I'm being sued and I called the attorney. They said they would settle for a certain amount and I could pay them. Once I paid the whole thing, the creditor would then send me a paper that I could file in court to remove a judgement. Is this correct?

    If you already have the judgement, they will show it paid after it is paid.

    If and before you pay anything, get any agreement in writing
