My plumber installed the whole boiler system last year with 3 zones, but left 2 of zone valve's red wires disconneted (hanging from ceiling in boiler room)because 2/3 of the house was still under construction. All pipes, gas hookup done and the 1/3 part of the house using only zone 1 was working well last year.

Now that the whole house is done, and I couldn't find the original plumber back to finish the wiring job to the 2nd and 3rd thermostat. I am quite technical and try to put wires together so I don't have pay big bucks hiring another plumber.

The boiler: Williams model#GWA 175-n-s with R8285D 1000 transformer panel on inner left side of the jacket, and the Honeywell zone valve mdl#v8043E1012.

After spending 3 hours reading manuals from boiler mfr and Honeywell, I got confused. Boiler manual showing Schematic wiring diagram that there are 2 black wires from terminal G and R, respectively, and those are supposed to connect with thermostat.. as for more than one zone: "refer to honeywell manual for wiring" said the boiler manual, but Honeywell manual never shows the R8285D1000 panel to deal with those 2 red wires out of the zone valve and I know it has to connect something to trigger the circulator once thermostat sends signal to via yellow wire to open valve, am I right?

Anyone who has experience of this kind wiring can advise me how to proceed? FYI my circulator was connected by one direct neutral wire from 120v AC and a yellow wire from transformer panel terminal Y. My initial thought would be just connect one of the red from zone valve to neutral and the other to terminal Y instead of what manual said to T, T that is from special panel L8148J. However I'm afraid making mistake to make matter worse.

Last winter when the boiler working only on 1 zone, the plumber actually used only one yellow and one red, I really got confused, help!
