    I am disable ,own a house can I claim bankruptcy in fl
    My wife and I are getting disablililty cks. And I get a samll penision ck. Can I file bankrupcty without them touching our money. I owe 30,000 thousand in credit card debit and live in fl.

    Do you own the house without any loan on it, ( that could be the biggest issue)
    It is not the income you get, but money in the bank and other things you own.

    Also remember you will have to take a means test to decide if you can file for chapter 7 or 13
